Stitch-n-pitch

Oh my gosh - so the Mariners may be absolutely tanking at the moment, but how much do I want to go to this game on the 25th?! Do they provide extra handy-wipes though? Or a hot-dog free zone? Wouldn't you hate to be 90% through a project and then SPLAT - someone drops their beer on you?

Actually, it's a little condescending-"Come to the game, little woman, and don't bother your pretty little head with actually watching it!" Sorry, I go to the game to watch, and do my needlework at home in front of the tube!

I looked at the blurb about the game again, and I don't think it's condescending at all - just marketing to a particular segment & taking advantage of the current trend for stitchery/knitting groups (e.g. Stich & Bitch) It *is* possible to do needlework AND watch the game at the same time - especially perhaps if you're doing a large knitting project, and doing several similar rows, etc. OK, you probably can't also keep score, unless you're a fantastic multi-tasker, but you can still pay attention and enjoy the game...

However, scientific research as proven that doing needlework during a Mariners game causes them to lose, even if they are ahead 12-0 in the 4th inning! It is amazing the power I have!
