Do you know your venesection from your fellah?
Test your vocabulary at (www.freerice.com -- I couldn't figure out how to link out from the image) AND donate rice through the UN. It's rare they say to get above level 48 -- I am *so* going for it...

Well, got as far up as 44, and ended at 43. But, I did donate a whole lot of grains! How addicting. I am sending it to my book club so they can spend mindless hours donating rice!

I know - reeeeally addictive. I got to 45, but will keep trying. I did notice the words start to repeat a little (which is good in a way, as you can show you're learning) - so eventually I should make it to many grains + 48 - 50 score. And a huger vocabulary...
Congrats Dad -- must be all the latin roots you have to learn for medical school... I can't seem to get higher than 48, and then only for a word or 2 - but I'll keep trying!
There was a HUGE story about this web-site on the CBS news tonight. Apparently, there have been over a billion grains of rice donated so far, in 6 weeks. Teachers are using this as an education tool.

I got to 50 and then ran out of steam when I had donated almost 1 k grains. I then fell back to 45 and quit. Dad
