Reading list
I finally got around to reading the December 2005 (eek - I'm a little behind) issue of the Swarthmore Bulletin, and found an article about the 'Essential Reading' for every Swarthmore student... Looks like I need to go back -- 4 years at Swat and I only managed 3 from the list. (Pride & Prejudice, Lord of the Rings, and Stephen Jay Gould's Burgess Shale, in case anyone's wondering...)

Well- I haven't read the Gould, but I have read some (most?) of Uncle Tungsten. And, I listen to Bach- does that make me one up on you??
Good grief-who can read all that stuff, and then have time for important reading like Sue Grafton, John Grisham et al.
Hey Kara -- we always knew you were more of the Swarthmorean... after all, only one of us was in the 1990 college brochure - and it wasn't me!
